The Mars Summer Program (MSP) is s an intense five-week multidisciplinary in-person program for undergraduates, graduates, and young professionals. The Program provides a detailed technical overview of the science, technologies, and post-arrival activities on the Martian surface.
Either standard or CV can be tailored as if you are applying to be an Astronaut and early settler on Mars.
Letter of Intent
Applicants are encouraged to write a Letter of Intent, which should be no more than 750 words. It should address the factors that have encouraged you to seek education from MarsU. You may also describe your background, personal and professional experiences related to the Program, important aspects of your academic record, and your professional goals during and after the Program.
Student applicants are required to upload a short maximum 60-second video in a horizontal orientation to Youtube, Vimeo, or another online video hosting platform. You may introduce yourself and what you would do on Mars.
Letters of Recommendation Required:
Admission to the Mars Summer Program requires you to be at least a rising third or fourth-year student in a Bachelors degree or to hold a Bachelors degree from an accredited higher education institution. For each post-secondary institution you've attended, you must upload a transcript for review.
MarsU does not require a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (ELTS) scores for this Program. All participants are expected to have fluency in English at the graduate-level in order to register and successfully participate.
The application fee is waived for the Program.
